Technical Details:

MoBiTec's DNA markers have been chosen to cover a wide range for molecular size estimation. Our markers are supplied ready-to-use in TE-buffer (10 mM Tris-HCI, pH 8, 1 mM EDTA) at 0.3 - 1 µg/µl or lyophilized (with a separate cup of gel loading buffer). When choosing the best marker for an application, ensure that the test marker falls within the optimum range. If there is a choice of products, choose the marker that has a band closest to the expected size of the test band. Note that where the marker covers a large range (such as the BstE II digest) different gel strengths will be needed to give optimum resolution throughout this size range; for example 1 to 5 kb would use a 0.7 to 1.0% agarose gel, whereas a 8 to 10% polyacrylamide gel would be used for 200 to 700 bp.

MoBiTec Dye Custom Marker Kit
