Ready-to-use Bradford Assay

The Bradford assay is a widely used and reliable method to determine protein concentrations in solutions in the range of 2 to 300 µg per assay (10 -1500 µg/ml). It is easy to perform, rapid and very specific for proteins. The protein-dye complex causes a shift in the dye absorption maximum from 465 to 595 nm. The amount of absorption at 595 nm is proportional to the protein concentration. We now offer a Bradford dye together with a protocol for increased linearity of OD to concentration ratio. MoBiTec´s Bradford Kit contains 500 ml of a 5x concentrate, sufficient for 2,500 assays in 1 ml kuvettes or 12,500 assays in microplates. When stored at 4°C in a dark place, Bradford reagent is stable for at least one year.
